software for founder–investor matchmaking events.

Boop runs curated founder–investor matchmaking: registration asks founders about their raise and investors about their thesis, Boop matches them on those answers, and the meetings are booked before the doors open, a table and a time, by text, with no event app. MATCH HOUSE runs its matchmaking on Boop: 1,200+ meetings booked before the doors opened across two events, with $6B+ in investor capital and 280+ companies.

registration is the matching input.

Founder? Ask about the raise. Investor? Ask about the thesis. By the time registration closes you have intent, not a headcount. A tier can be invite-only with an approval step, so every application is reviewed before a seat is confirmed. More on registration.

meetings booked before the doors open.

The same answers that power registration power your matches. Every attendee gets a curated shortlist, and the meetings that matter are booked before the doors open. Not “let's find time.” A table and a time.

new matches on the floor.

Boop reads who's in the room and surfaces new matches on the spot, then says exactly where to go. Not “you two should meet.” Table 9, 8:10 PM.

no app for anyone.

Meetings, profile swaps, and updates run over text. Every attendee gets a unique QR for check-in. The directory shows name, company, and LinkedIn: anyone can ask to connect, the other side decides, and contact details change hands only on an accept.

proof the room worked.

Every connection is tracked, with one-way scans counted apart from mutual ones. Sponsors get their own sign-in to the guest list for the event they paid for, scoped to that event and revocable the day after.

MATCH HOUSE runs on boop.

MATCH HOUSE is curated founder–investor networking during SXSW, with a fireside chat by Bill Gurley (General Partner, Benchmark). Boop ran application screening, matchmaking, QR check-in, badge printing, and the texts: 1,200+ meetings booked before the doors opened across two MATCH HOUSE events, with $6B+ in investor capital and 280+ companies. Brought together investors and founders in a really thoughtful and meaningful way.

good ones to ask.

can i keep my current registration?

Yes. Import the list from Eventbrite or Luma, or bring a CSV from anywhere else, Cvent included, and Boop layers the matchmaking, the texts and check-in on top.

do attendees need an app?

No. Nobody downloads anything at your door. Meetings, profile swaps and updates run over text. Guests who want more add the app on top of the same event.

whose calendar does it use?

Each person connects their own: Google Calendar, or Outlook through Microsoft Graph with delegated sign-in. Invites go out from that calendar and RSVPs sync back. No tenant-wide access.

does it work on venue wifi?

It doesn't need to. SMS runs on the attendee's own carrier, RCS where the phone supports it. Nothing depends on venue wifi, and nobody has to download an app.
