Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Venture Dallas 2026 collects when you register and how it is used. Venture Dallas 2026's organizer is the data controller; Boop (Boop Me Inc) operates the ticketing and attendee-app platform as the data processor on the organizer's behalf.
What we collect
Registration details: your name, email address, mobile number, company, and title.
Ticket and payment information: your order is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles card data under PCI-DSS.
Event activity: the sessions you reserve or waitlist, and check-in status.
How we use it
To process your ticket, confirm your registration, and give you access to your online ticket and schedule.
To send you event-related SMS messages (see our SMS Policy).
To operate the Event on the day — session capacity, waitlists, and check-in.
Who we share it with
The organizer (Venture Dallas) is the data controller and decides how your registration data is used for the Event. Boop is the data processor that runs the ticketing and attendee-app platform on the organizer's behalf.
Stripe (payments) and Twilio (SMS delivery) are engaged through Boop as subprocessors. Boop's Privacy Policy lists the full subprocessor chain.
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention & your choices
We keep registration data for as long as needed to run the Event and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
Personal information collected through the Boop platform is processed by Boop in accordance with Boop's Privacy Policy; this Event policy governs how the organizer uses your data.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing director@venturedallas.org; Boop will refer any requests it receives directly back to the organizer. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
Ticketing and messaging run on the Boop platform; the organizer is the merchant of record for ticket sales, and Boop acts as data processor. These Boop policies apply alongside this Event policy:
